♥ Assembling

Whenever I start assembling Amigurumi, I’d like to use sewing pins to position all parts first until I’m happy. Then I will sew them on. I recommend you do so as well.

There isn’t much to assemble for this one, just sew the top of the bell to the top. And the other part on the bottom. With a bit of black yarn, create his mouth.
If you want to hang it, don’t forget to add a loop to the top.

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern! I think it’s adorable. If you decided to make any of the blogmas amigurumi, please show me on Twitter or Instagram  with #DelinleaDIY. I’d love to see what you make using my patterns.

And don’t forget that you can get all Blogmas patterns ad free in a PDF bundle in my Ko-Fi shop (English US terms and Dutch). The link you can find on the Blogmas Page here! (Etsy might follow later).

♥ Assembling

Whenever I start assembling Amigurumi, I’d like to use sewing pins to position all parts first until I’m happy. Then I will sew them on. I recommend you do so as well.

Start with sewing Santa his body to his head. Then sew on the arms and add the belt as well, with the Yellow yarn create the buckle of the belt.
To his hat, add the pompom and put in later on his head. If you want the top to bent, use a bit of yarn to hold it in place
First add the beard to his face, you might wanna put his hat on to see till where you need to sew it on, so you don’t get a gap of skin in between. When you are happy, take his hat off and sew it on. Then put the mustache parts in between his eyes. Get his hat back on and Santa is ready to go.
If you want to hang it, don’t forget to add a loop to the top.

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern of this little Santa!

The link, you can find on the Blogmas Page here! (Etsy might follow later).

♥ Sinterklaas Gnome Amigurumi

19 november 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! If you live in a country where Sinterklaas is celebrated, you know he’s in the county now. It was weird to watch him on television this year, just like a lot this year, it was also different, without any public. I don’t really know what to think of it. But at least they didn’t cancel it completely. Related to the topic Sinterklaas I wanted to make a amigurumi, and came up with the following design. A Sinterklaas Gnome! I hope you will like him! Next week I will make a Piet Gnome, so he will have company.

♥ Assembling

Whenever I start to assemble Amigurumi’s I use sewing pins first. This way I can move all parts around until I am happy. I recommend you do so as well.

First sew the 2 crosses to the Mijter on both sides and you might wanna sew the tip of the Mijter together. Then, sew on his Mijter around row 10 of the body. The cape goes directly under the Mijter. On the other side of the body you will sew on the beard, with the nose centered. Last, position his feet and sew those on.

That was it already for this Sinterklaas Gnome! It’s not too hard to make, but oh so cute! I hope you will enjoy this pattern. Let’s make it fun inside out home’s even when the world is cruel outside. It’s better to try to do those things we can control and make us feel a little better instead of being anxious all the time.

If you decided to make this Sinterklaas Gnome, please, show me on Twitter or Instagram with the #DelinleaDIY. I would love to see what you made with my patterns!

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week!

Love
Danielle

♥ Halloween Amigurumi’s

1 oktober 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! The spooky month started! Yay! I love it, although we don’t really celebrate it here in the Netherlands. Over the years I have made quite some amigurumi’s that are Halloween related, so I want to list them down in today’s blog. Maybe some you’ve missed or forgot about. So, let’s refresh our memory!

♥ Bat

This bad isn’t scary at all, but who said that all Halloween related stuff had to be scary?! It’s fun to change things up. I think it will look cute to hang a bunch in the air at a party, maybe if someone walks into them, they might get scared anyway if they didn’t expect them!

♥ Bunny Pumpkin

What’s Halloween without Pumpkins?! I just can’t imagine that. I love to decorate, craft and also cook with them. They are multifunctional! I think this year I need to buy a good pumpkin to carve it out. Not sure what yet tho. I will figure that out later. For now enjoy this Amigurumi pattern, at least you don’t have to watch it if it gets moldy xD.

♥ Cat Ghost

How cute is this cat ghost?! I’ve made 3 in go last year, oops xD. And I actually feel like making more.. I guess I will. They are just so easy to make!

Cat Ghost

♥ Ghost

This little ghost is using the most basic and well know crochet technique, granny square! I sometimes like to play around with stitches like this. That’s how this pattern came alive as well. I usually just have too many ideas.

♥ Hiding Witches

Yes, shy witches exist as well! Didn’t know that right?! These love to hide under their hat and are really friendly, they actually just wanna help you but don’t know how to do that. Maybe we should give them a little hand! These you can make in all sorts of colors, and let them sit anywhere. I think it’s fun decoration around this time of year!

Hiding Witches

♥ Jack Skellington

I think I should add Jack here as well. I really should watch the movie again since I forgot a bit where it was about. But the Nightmare Before Christmas just shouldn’t be left out here!

♥ Pumpkin Ghost

This one is also made using the Ghost pattern, same series. Just added a Pumpkin instead of a round head. It already gives such a different vibe! I love this one the most, I think, out of this series. Probably because of the pumpkin head that makes it just that little different. I love things that are different!

♥ Witch Ghost

Just like the Ghost pattern, is this one from the same series I made. With a few chances you can make something look completely different. You can make so many variations. You don’t always have to make a completely new pattern.

I hope this post refreshed your mind and that you are able to make some of these patterns you might have forgotten. These are all fun to make, and pretty easy as well! If you made some of those patterns, I hope you will show me on Twitter or Instagram with the #DelinleaDIY. I always love to see what you created using my patterns.

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week!

Love
Danielle
