Assembling

Whenever I start assembling amigurumi’s, I prefer to use sewing pins first. This way I can position and reposition all parts until I am happy with how it looks. I recommend you do so as well.

First position Flounders snout, just under the middle of the face and sew it on. Along sewing the snout on, make sure to stuff it slightly.
His side fins go just under the first stripe on his back. His back fin start from the first stripe as well. His tail, obviously goes on his behind, or however you wanna call it. Sew all those parts on.
I used embroidery to make his face, but of course you can use felt or anything else instead, just what you prefer. With a bit of pink pastel dust you can make his blushy cheeks.

Optional, to make Flounder’s eyes a bit deeper into the amigurumi, use some yarn on a needle. Make sure to tie a good knot at the end. Now go from a random spot, where you can get the knot through the body, to his eyes, without going through the eye, but just behind the yarn used there. The do the same with the other eye and pull the yarn tightly. You can see you pull the eyes slightly inward. Secure the yarn somewhere tightly where it’s not visible and finish off.

I hope you had fun making Flounder! I think it’s such a fun TsumTsum to make!

Have a wonderful day!

Love
Danielle

Hey Lovelies! Are you ready for a new Ufufy pattern?! I hope you do. Today’s Ufufy, doesn’t have that typical oval shape, but it’s still cute. Can you already guess which one it will be? Well, I’m gonna tell you now, it’s gonna be Chip Mug! This one just happened when I saw a picture of it. Let’s dive into the pattern.

♥ Dibo Amigurumi

16 april 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Meet Dibo! Dibo it this very active creature that jumps around all the time! He loves to sit in high places, preferably in trees or plants. He loves that. Sometimes you can get really tired of his presence, jumping around you all the time, he can’t sit still.
This creature was born from my imagination, I just started crocheting and went with the flow. First I thought it was gonna be a dino, but it didn’t look like that in the end. I still love him, or is he to weird?! xD Anyway, you just need 1 color of yarn and really quick to make, so I hope you will enjoy him as well!

♥ Sakura Ufufy

19 maart 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! As you probably know I love Ufufy’s and TsumTsum’s a lot! I keep making them. Just can’t stop! haha. So, some time ago I saw these adorable Sakura Ufufy’s online and I instantly loved them. I needed them in my life! Now I already have quit a few patterns for Ufufy, so why not use those patterns and make them in another way?

Sakura Ufufy

Today’s blog will be more like an inspiration blog as it’s really pattern. I still wanted to share these with you, since, yeah, you’ll probably love them as well. I made Pooh, Mickey and Minnie as Sakura Ufufy. But you can use any pattern and change those to Sakura style.

To make them Sakura style you need different shades of Pink! I used a max of 3 different pinks for Minnie. For Pooh and Mickey I used just 2 shades. The only thing you make extra for these Ufufy’s, are the Sakura Flowers and petals, which you will make out of pink felt and glue onto the Ufufy.

Those are really easy to make and so much fun. Even it’s the same pattern as the regular versions, those give a whole different vibe.  They just scream Spring!

Here you can find the patterns I used:
Mickey
Minnie
Pooh

I hope you will like this idea and will make them as well! Share them with me if you made them!

♥ Free Pattern; Sakura Flower Amigurumi

5 maart 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Spring is on its way!! Although the weather is more acting like it’s Fall xD. We’ll just have to deal with it. But we can make our own little Spring world, to give us those Spring vibes. That’s why I made this adorable pattern of a Sakura flower! Don’t you wanna make a whole bunch and decorate everything with it, so we can make up for the bad weather?! Well, I think, I will xD. Let’s get quickly into this pattern.

Sakura Flower

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Yarn in the colors;  Pink and Green. (I used Zeeman Supersoft)
♥ Crochet Hook (I used a 2mm hook).
♥ Safety Eyes, 5mm.
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Scissors.
♥ Sewing Pins.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Piece of dark colored yarn for the mouth.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
HDC = Half Double Crochet.
DC = Double Crochet.
Picot = Ch3 and SlSt into the first Ch again.
ST = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Sakura Flower

Sakura Flower (Make 2)
Use the color Pink.

1: 5SC in Magic Ring, SlSt in the first st. [5]
2: Ch1, 2SC in each st around, SlSt in the first st. [10]
3: Ch1, (1SC, inc) 6 times, SlSt in the first st. [15]
4: Ch1, (2SC, inc) 6 times. [20]
From here you will work the patals, repeat row 5-7, 5 times.

Fasten off and weave in tail.

Leaves (Make 2)
Use the color Green.

Ch8, insert in 2nd ch from hook, 1SC, 1HDC, 2DC in the next st, 2HDC, 1SC,  1SC + Picot + 1SC in the next st, continue to work along the other side of the chain, 1SC, 2HDC, 2DC in the next st, 1HDC, 1SC, SlSt.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

Whenever I make Amigurumi’s, I like to use sewing pins first to add all parts together. This way I can easily move them around until I am happy with how it looks.

On one of the ‘Sakura Flower’ add the eyes and the mouth, I put the eyes between row 3 and 4. Next sew both sides of the flower together.
Add the leaves however you like and sew those on as well.

And your Sakura Flower is already done! Easy right? And so cute, are you gonna make some? I hope you will, and show me on social media if you do!

Have a wonderful day~
