♥ Chip Mug Ufufy

23 april 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Are you ready for a new Ufufy pattern?! I hope you do. Today’s Ufufy, doesn’t have that typical oval shape, but it’s still cute. Can you already guess which one it will be? Well, I’m gonna tell you now, it’s gonna be Chip Mug! This one just happened when I saw a picture of it. Let’s dive into the pattern.

Chip Mug Ufufy

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Yarn in White, Light Yellow and pink (I used Zeeman Supersoft)
♥ Crochet Hook, 2mm.
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Felt in black and some thread for facial details.
♥ Stitch Markers.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Sewing Pins.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
ST = Stitch.
BL = Back Loops.
FL = Front Loops.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Chip Mug

Work in continues rounds, use a stitch marker to mark your first stitch of every row. This is for every part, unless stated otherwise.

Body
Use the color White.

1: 6SC in Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each st around. [12]
3: (1SC, inc) 6 times. [18]
4: (2SC, inc) 6 times. [24]
5: (3SC, inc) 6 times. [30]
6: BL, 30SC. [30]
7: 30SC. [30]

9: 33SC. [33]
10: (10SC, inc) 3 times. [36]
11: 36SC. [36]
12: (11SC, inc) 3 times. [39]

19: (1SC, dec) 6 times. [12]
20: (dec) 6 times. [6]
Fasten off and weave in tail.
At row 6 you worked in the Back Loops only, rejoin now in the Front Loops with Light Yellow yarn  and make 30SC. You can also make one SC less on the spot you want the ‘chip’ to be, make sure to start at that point.

Foot of the Mug
Start with the color Pink.

Rejoin in the front loops of row 18 of the body.
1: FL, 18SC.
2: (2SC, inc) 6 times. [24]
Change to the color Light Yellow.
3: FL, 24SC. [24]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Handle of the Mug
Use the color Light Yellow.

1: 5SC in Magic Ring. [5]
2: 5SC. [5]
|
8: 5SC. [5]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

There is not much to assemble, only the handle of the mug. Place it with sewing pins on the spot you like it. Make sure that there is space the make the mouth underneath. Sew it on.
With felt and/or thread make his facial features.

And Chip Mug is already done, and I love him so much! I had a lot of fun making him, and I hope you too!

Have a wonderful day!

♥ Dibo Amigurumi

16 april 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Meet Dibo! Dibo it this very active creature that jumps around all the time! He loves to sit in high places, preferably in trees or plants. He loves that. Sometimes you can get really tired of his presence, jumping around you all the time, he can’t sit still.
This creature was born from my imagination, I just started crocheting and went with the flow. First I thought it was gonna be a dino, but it didn’t look like that in the end. I still love him, or is he to weird?! xD Anyway, you just need 1 color of yarn and really quick to make, so I hope you will enjoy him as well!

Dibo

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Yarn in a color of choice! (I used budgetyarn.com)
♥ Crochet Hook, 2,5mm.
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Safety Eyes, 5mm.
♥ Stitch Markers.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Sewing Pins.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
HDC = Half Double Crochet.
ST = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Dibo

Work in continues rounds, use a stitch marker to mark your first stitch of every row. This is for every part, unless stated otherwise.

Body

Before you start, prepare 3 strands of yarn, about 6cm. Tie them together with knot and put them aside. This will be for his hair.

1: 6SC in a Magic Yarn. [6] Before closing the magic ring, put in the 3 strands you prepared earlier, with the knot on the inside. now close the magic ring.
2: 2SC in each st around. [12]
3: (3SC, inc) 3 times. [15]
4: (4SC, inc) 3 times. [18]
5: 18SC. [18]
6: (5SC, inc) 3 times. [21]
7: 21SC. [21]
8: (6SC, inc) 3 times. [24]
9: 24SC. [24]
|
11: 24SC. [24]
12: (2SC, dec) 6 times. [18]
13: (1SC, dec) 6 times. [12] Place the eyes between row 5 and 6, about 2cm apart. Stuff the body firmly.
14: Dec all around. [6]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Snout

1: Ch4, insert in second Chain from hook, 2SC, 3SC in the next st, continue along the other side of the chain, 1SC, inc. [8]
2: 8SC. [8]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Tail

1: 6SC in Magic Ring. [6]
2: 6SC. [6]
3: (1SC, inc) 3 times. [9]
4: 9SC. [9]
5: 9SC. [9]
6: 9SC. [9]
7: (2SC, inc) 3 times. [12]
8: 6HDC, 6SC. [12]
9: 6HDC, 6SC. [12]
10: 6HDC, 1SC. [7]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Don’t forget to stuff the tail.

Assembling

Whenever I start assembling Amigurumi’s, I use sewing pins to put all things together first. This way I can move them around until I am happy with how it looks.

Put his snout in between his eyes, slightly lower, and sew it on. Eventually, make, with some black yarn, his nostrils.
Put his tail on his lower back, pointing downwards. And sew it on.

And that was it already for Dibo! Quick and easy pattern for you to enjoy!

Have a wonderful day!

♥ Spring Wreath from Scratch

9 april 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! I love making wreath’s, they just give that little extra to your home. And the fun thing is that you can make them however you like. Since we had some cuttings from the garden that I didn’t wanna waste. I decide to make a wreath with it. And I’ll gonna try to explain to you how to make your own. And also give you an idea how you can decorate it with links to tutorials I used.

For this DIY you’ll need:
♥ 100-200cm Twigs, preferably those that are flexible, like from a Willow. Freshly cut twigs are easier to work with. It depends on what you go for on how many twigs you need, but make sure to have plenty.
♥ Pruning Shears.
♥ Things to decorate, like flowers, greens, succulents, etc.

Tutorial

Start with one of you longest twigs, keep your hand at the thick side and bend this one carefully in a circle to the size you want. Mine is about 22cm. When you are happy with the size, wrap the end of the twig around itself. This way it will hold it shape, sorta, without the need of using glue or wire.

Don’t worry if your circle isn’t perfect, you can adjust that along the way.

Now start adding more twigs, I always added the thick side of the twig, at what you choose to be the back, and wrap it around the base circle you made.  If you keep the same flow as the first one, you get one like I made. But you can also make it more messy if you prefer.  Let’s just have fun and see what you can make with materials from nature!

Like I said, along the way you can adjust the shape into a more perfect circle, keep checking what your wreath needs. Add twigs until you are happy with the size and thickness of the whole thing.

And that’s basically it for a basic wreath! it’s not that hard, just need to be careful not to break the twigs. But practice makes perfect!

Decorating

For decorating you can use anything that suits you, I chose to make flowers from felt and add those. Since it’s spring, I wanted to use more pastel tints and  flowers that would bloom now. These are the ones I made, some kind of Rose, Anemone and Daisies.

Here are the tutorials I used, but as usual, I didn’t really followed them along and just modified to whatever I wanted xD. I’m always this person that just start something and then follow along my own rules. Haha.

Link to Rose tutorial.
Link to Anemone tutorial.
Link to Daisy tutorial.

I hope you will have fun making your own wreath!! I love to make things from scratch and be happy with the end result. Plus this really makes you home looks happier!

Have a wonderful day!

♥ Quilled Easter Baby Chick

2 april 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Are you ready for Easter? I know these are weird times, but if you don’t make it fun for yourself, no one else would do it for you. And a way to make you feel better if to decorate your place with fun stuff and lovely (homemade) food! So I have a fun project for you to do! Most of us have paper around, just find the right colors and cut it to size. Then you are ready to make those adorable Easter baby chick!

Easter Baby Chicks

For this DIY you’ll need:
♥ 3 Strokes of Yellow, 3mm by 21cm each.
♥ 4 Strokes of Purple, 3mm by 21cm each. (Of course you can use another color!)
♥ 2 Strokes of Yellow, 1,5mm by 10,5cm each.
♥ Bit of extra Orange and Yellow Paper.
♥ X-Acto Knife.
♥ Glue.
♥ Acrylic Paint, Black and White.
♥ Brush.

Tutorial

Roll up the 3 yellow strokes (3mm by 21cm), use glue if you need to add a new stroke to make it easier (you don’t have to). Glue the end of the last stroke so it keeps the tight, round shape.

Making shapes

If you have this quilling board to make 3d shapes, please us it, it makes life a lot easier. If you don’t try to shape it without or try to find similar shapes to what I show in the pictures.
The board is easy to use, just push the circle, with your fingers, over the shape, carefully. Do it for both colors, for yellow I used a slightly cone shape one, for purple a half ball shape.

When you have your shapes ready, make sure to put a layer of glue on the inside. This will prevent it to lose its shape. Let this dry before you continue.

Egg Shell

The purple one, on the edge, you wanna cut out little triangles. You don’t want them to exactly the same, if you break an egg, they aren’t either. Be careful that you don’t cut them to deep. This will be the egg shell.

Now, glue the yellow part inside the purple part. So the little chick inside the egg shell.

Wings

Roll up the other yellow strokes, those will be for the wings. Let them expand to around 8mm and secure with a bit of glue. Pinch one side so you will get the shape as shown in the picture.
Glue the wings to body sides of the body of the baby chick.

Finishing Off

Last but not least, create a beak, hairs and eyes. I used paper for the beak and hairs and paint for the eyes. Since it’s so tiny, it’s hard to make everything from paper. Just do what works for you!

Easter Baby Chicks

You could also decorate the eggs if you like to! And maybe add some thread to be able to hang them up. ^-^

I hope you had fun with this tutorial. I love exploring things with paper, you can do so much with it. I did quilling in the past, but never anything 3D. Although I obviously know how to make it. It was fun!

Have a wonderful day!

Love
Danielle

♥ Amigurumi Easter Bunny TsumTsum Suit

26 maart 2020 by Delinlea 2 Comments

Hey Lovelies! These days I am happy I have a blog where I can share tutorials and patterns with you! I hope that brings you some happiness and some time to deal with the whole situation, wherever you are. These days I am obsessed with fluffy yarn, kinda wanna make everything I crochet, fluffy xD. How do you think about fluffy yarn? Like it? or hate it?! Well too bad if you hate it, because for today’s pattern I used fluffy yarn. Don’t mind me xD. I saw those Tsum Tsum’s dressed up as Easter Bunny or chicks, so cute. So I thought of a way to make a suit for your tsum that (s)he can wear during Easter! Let’s go to the pattern~!

Fluffy Easter Bunny Suit for TsumTsum

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Fluffy yarn in Pink and White, or other colors if you like! (I used ‘Fluffy’ from the Zeeman)
♥ Crochet Hook, I used 4mm. (Check your label to use the right size, since fluffy yarn comes in different lengths of fur)
♥ Stitch Marker.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Felt.
♥ Scissors.
♥ (Fabric) Glue.
♥ A Tsum Tsum you wanna dress up. (Check the available Tsum Tsum patterns here! I used my Winnie The Pooh Tsum)

Stitches used (US terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SlSt = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
HDC = Half Double Crochet.
DC = Double Crochet.
St = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Bunny Suit

Before you begin, make sure to have the Tsum you wanna dress up on hand. Because there are different kinds of fluffy yarn, and the way people would  crochet. It could affect the size of the suit you need. So, along the way you wanna fit, if your Tsum fits in the suit.

So at row 4 I noticed I had enough stitches around, but it could be possible that yours need to be smaller or bigger. Maybe you need 18 stitches around instead of 24, or if bigger, 30 stitches around. Check if you need more or less. It’s easy to adjust the pattern and if you don’t know how, send me an email here. You always increase by 6, with this pattern.

Also the length of the suit can also differ. I needed to crochet up to row 19 to cover the Tsum nicely. But maybe you need more or less rows, just keep trying on the suit on your Tsum.

Row 20 will stay the same, no matter your stitch count or length!

Body
Use the Pink yarn.

1: 6SC in Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each St around. [12]
3: (1SC, inc) 6 times. [18]
4: (2SC, inc) 6 times. [24]
5: 24SC. [24]
|
19: 24SC. [24]
20: 1SC, 1HDC, (2DC, Dec) 2 times, 2DC, 1HDC, 1SC, SlSt. [13]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Legs and Tail (Total of 5)
Make 4 legs in Pink, and the Tail in White.

1: 4SC in Magic Ring. [4]
2: 4SC. [4]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2)
Use the Pink Yarn.

Ch7, insert in second Ch from hook, 2SC, 3HDC, 1SC.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

I usually use sewing pins to map out where I want all the pieces to go, but that’s a bit tricky with a not stuffed suit. You can try, but becareful!

Sew the ears on top of the suit, and his tail to his ‘butt’. Then the legs go around his belly.

From felt make the ‘inside’ of the bunny ears, I used pink, but it depends on what color you used for the body.  Make also some eyes and a nose for the suit for that little extra cuteness! If you want you can add some flowers or a bow to the suit as well! Make it fun! Adjust it to you liking!

I hope you enjoyed this Bunny Suit pattern, I think it’s an adorable idea and give me ideas for future patterns haha xD

Have a wonderful day, stay healthy and crafty!
