Hey Lovelies! My sister asked me if I could make this giant bumble bee, that she saw online, for her. I said, yeah sure, so we went online to find yarn. We ended up buying Behéme Velvet “double” from go handmade (not sponsored). When it arrived we realized it was a lot thinner as expected. So that’s why I am releasing this pattern today, that if you still want a giant bee you can still make it with thinner velvet yarn. I hope you will enjoy!
For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Bohéme Velvet “Double” by Go Handmade, in the colors Snow White and Soft Rose.
♥ Crochet Hook (I used a 6 and 5 mm hook).

♥ Safety Eyes, 12mm.
♥ Bit of pink felt or yarn to make the cheeks pink.

Assembling
Whenever I start with assembling an Amigurumi, I use sewing pins first. This way I can move around all parts until I am happy with the result. Then I sew it on.
The wings will be sewn on the middle, pink stripe of the Bumble bee, make sure to attach it well. The antenna will be on top of its head. Check to see what’s the cutest position. Then with pink felt or yarn make little pink cheeks just under its eyes.
Your Giant Bumble Bee is ready! It’s a fun project to make, and pretty quick. I loved making this one for my sister, and she loves it a lot. Haven’t seen it back since I gave it haha. If you made one as well, don’t forget to show me on Twitter or Instagram with #DelinleaDIY. I’d love to see what you create with my patterns.
I hope you’ll have a wonderful day!
