♥ Amigurumi Easter Bunny TsumTsum Suit

26 maart 2020 by Delinlea 2 Comments

Hey Lovelies! These days I am happy I have a blog where I can share tutorials and patterns with you! I hope that brings you some happiness and some time to deal with the whole situation, wherever you are. These days I am obsessed with fluffy yarn, kinda wanna make everything I crochet, fluffy xD. How do you think about fluffy yarn? Like it? or hate it?! Well too bad if you hate it, because for today’s pattern I used fluffy yarn. Don’t mind me xD. I saw those Tsum Tsum’s dressed up as Easter Bunny or chicks, so cute. So I thought of a way to make a suit for your tsum that (s)he can wear during Easter! Let’s go to the pattern~!

Fluffy Easter Bunny Suit for TsumTsum

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Fluffy yarn in Pink and White, or other colors if you like! (I used ‘Fluffy’ from the Zeeman)
♥ Crochet Hook, I used 4mm. (Check your label to use the right size, since fluffy yarn comes in different lengths of fur)
♥ Stitch Marker.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Felt.
♥ Scissors.
♥ (Fabric) Glue.
♥ A Tsum Tsum you wanna dress up. (Check the available Tsum Tsum patterns here! I used my Winnie The Pooh Tsum)

Stitches used (US terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SlSt = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
HDC = Half Double Crochet.
DC = Double Crochet.
St = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Bunny Suit

Before you begin, make sure to have the Tsum you wanna dress up on hand. Because there are different kinds of fluffy yarn, and the way people would  crochet. It could affect the size of the suit you need. So, along the way you wanna fit, if your Tsum fits in the suit.

So at row 4 I noticed I had enough stitches around, but it could be possible that yours need to be smaller or bigger. Maybe you need 18 stitches around instead of 24, or if bigger, 30 stitches around. Check if you need more or less. It’s easy to adjust the pattern and if you don’t know how, send me an email here. You always increase by 6, with this pattern.

Also the length of the suit can also differ. I needed to crochet up to row 19 to cover the Tsum nicely. But maybe you need more or less rows, just keep trying on the suit on your Tsum.

Row 20 will stay the same, no matter your stitch count or length!

Body
Use the Pink yarn.

1: 6SC in Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each St around. [12]
3: (1SC, inc) 6 times. [18]
4: (2SC, inc) 6 times. [24]
5: 24SC. [24]
|
19: 24SC. [24]
20: 1SC, 1HDC, (2DC, Dec) 2 times, 2DC, 1HDC, 1SC, SlSt. [13]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Legs and Tail (Total of 5)
Make 4 legs in Pink, and the Tail in White.

1: 4SC in Magic Ring. [4]
2: 4SC. [4]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2)
Use the Pink Yarn.

Ch7, insert in second Ch from hook, 2SC, 3HDC, 1SC.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

I usually use sewing pins to map out where I want all the pieces to go, but that’s a bit tricky with a not stuffed suit. You can try, but becareful!

Sew the ears on top of the suit, and his tail to his ‘butt’. Then the legs go around his belly.

From felt make the ‘inside’ of the bunny ears, I used pink, but it depends on what color you used for the body.  Make also some eyes and a nose for the suit for that little extra cuteness! If you want you can add some flowers or a bow to the suit as well! Make it fun! Adjust it to you liking!

I hope you enjoyed this Bunny Suit pattern, I think it’s an adorable idea and give me ideas for future patterns haha xD

Have a wonderful day, stay healthy and crafty!

Love
Danielle

♥ Free Pattern; Sakura Flower Amigurumi

5 maart 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Spring is on its way!! Although the weather is more acting like it’s Fall xD. We’ll just have to deal with it. But we can make our own little Spring world, to give us those Spring vibes. That’s why I made this adorable pattern of a Sakura flower! Don’t you wanna make a whole bunch and decorate everything with it, so we can make up for the bad weather?! Well, I think, I will xD. Let’s get quickly into this pattern.

Sakura Flower

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Yarn in the colors;  Pink and Green. (I used Zeeman Supersoft)
♥ Crochet Hook (I used a 2mm hook).
♥ Safety Eyes, 5mm.
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Scissors.
♥ Sewing Pins.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Piece of dark colored yarn for the mouth.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
HDC = Half Double Crochet.
DC = Double Crochet.
Picot = Ch3 and SlSt into the first Ch again.
ST = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Pattern Sakura Flower

Sakura Flower (Make 2)
Use the color Pink.

1: 5SC in Magic Ring, SlSt in the first st. [5]
2: Ch1, 2SC in each st around, SlSt in the first st. [10]
3: Ch1, (1SC, inc) 6 times, SlSt in the first st. [15]
4: Ch1, (2SC, inc) 6 times. [20]
From here you will work the patals, repeat row 5-7, 5 times.
5: Ch1, 3SC, inc, turn. [5]
6: 5SC, turn. [5]
7: Dec, Picot, 1SC, Picot, dec. [5]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Leaves (Make 2)
Use the color Green.

Ch8, insert in 2nd ch from hook, 1SC, 1HDC, 2DC in the next st, 2HDC, 1SC,  1SC + Picot + 1SC in the next st, continue to work along the other side of the chain, 1SC, 2HDC, 2DC in the next st, 1HDC, 1SC, SlSt.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

Whenever I make Amigurumi’s, I like to use sewing pins first to add all parts together. This way I can easily move them around until I am happy with how it looks.

On one of the ‘Sakura Flower’ add the eyes and the mouth, I put the eyes between row 3 and 4. Next sew both sides of the flower together.
Add the leaves however you like and sew those on as well.

And your Sakura Flower is already done! Easy right? And so cute, are you gonna make some? I hope you will, and show me on social media if you do!

Have a wonderful day~

Love
Danielle

Around the edge of the collar, stitch on a yellow border, just like how Dumbo’s collar should look like.

Assembling

For every Amigurumi I put together, I use sewing pins first. This way you can easily move the parts around until you are happy.

Sew the inside of the ears to the outside of the ears, if you do this first, you can just move on to complete it.
Sew the snout on first, just under the middle of the face. This way you have a point to measure the other parts from.
The Collar will go on next, between row 14/15 of the body. In front of the collar you will position the hat and the ears and sew those on too.
just behind the Collar, around his belly his 2 front legs will go, the other to near the end of the body.
And last but not least, sew on his tail!
Make his eyes and other facial features from either felt or you can choose to embroider them on, just what look you like more and what you are comfortable with.

And Dumbo is already Finished, he is so cute and I am so happy I finally finished him. To be honest, I started him years ago and I just never finished it, weird. Oh well, at least we have him all done now! I hope you enjoyed this pattern and I’ll see you next week.

Fasten off and leave a long tail. Use a Yarn Needle to go to the middle of the bow with the yarn and wrap the tail tightly around several times and fasten off but don’t cut the yarn.

Assembling

For all of my amigurumi’s I use sewing pins to place all of the parts, so I can easily move them around until I am happy with how it looks. Then I will sew it on.
Sew the hands to the sleeves first, and the sew them to the body. Sew the legs to the body as well.
Postition the hair and sew it on the way you like it. I have stuffed the hair a tiny bit cause you could see where the unfinished inside ended. So you might wanna do so as well.
On top of Snow White’s hair, sew on the ribbon and on top of that the bow.
With some scrap pieces of red yarn, embroider 3 stripes on each sleeve.
Make her facial detail with black felt and glue those on, with some pink pastel of make-up you can apply a light blush on her ‘cheecks’.

Snow White is already done! I always love how quickly you can make Ufufy, tho the Designing of the pattern sometimes takes a lot longer as you would think haha. But I am okay with that, it’s fun to challenge myself to get the right shape.

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern, I’ll see you again next week!

Danielle

♥ DIY Envelope Booklet

13 februari 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Did you also survive the storm Ciara, if you lived in Europe? It really went nuts here, but nothing got damaged and I could walk most of the days without been blown away haha. I kinda like to walk outside when it storms, not completely sure why, just love it. For today I wanted to make a small booklet that looks like an envelope. I first wanted to create something else, but what I imaged, didn’t worked out in reality. So sad, but sometimes it’s like that. I hope you’ll like this tutorial. The booklet would also be very cute to use as a valentines gift with little notes or drawings, how cute would that be?!

Envelope Booklet

For this DIY you’ll need:
♥ 1mm Board.
♥ Pretty Cardstock or Paper.
♥ Paper for the sheets inside, I used dark and light pink.
♥ Scissors.
♥ Ruler.
♥ X-acto Knive.
♥ Glue.
♥ Needle that’s strong enough to poke through board.
♥ Piece of Yarn, about 30cm.
♥ Beads. (optional)

DIY

Cut the board to size, according to the picture below. All heights are the same, 4,5cm.

Then also cut the cardstock that you wanna use for the cover. The best way to do this is to start measuring out 0,75cm, then line up all the pieces including the space in between the spine pieces of the book, and add another 0,75cm. Add 0,75 on the top and bottom as well. Try to make it look like the picture below. (The good side of the paper is facing down).

Glue all pieces of board to the cardstock.

Now cut all the corners of the cardstock, like I did in the picture. Make sure to leave a little space close to the board (about 1mm) so the corners will get covered nicely.

Now glue all edges around the board.

For the inside of the cover, choose some paper/cardstock you like and cut it to size. It’s the same size but 1,5mm less from all edges.
Glue this to the inside.

Pages for the Booklet

Cut 7 sheets of paper for the pages of the booklet, 6 by 4cm. Fold them in half on the short side, so you get folded sheets of 3 by 4cm.

Stack all sheets together. As you will notice, when you stack them together, you can an outward facing V-shape on the side where you would open the book. You can leave them as it is. Or trim it down smooth. Just what you prefer.

It’s time to make the binding holes. Measure 1,25cm inwards on the spine at the left side. Both from top and bottom so you’ll end up with 2 holes. Poke those through with a needle, make sure to be careful. Copy those holes to the pages and poke those through as well.

Using the yarn, put it on your needle and go from the outside of the book to the inside, through the stack of pages. Then go through the other hole to the outside again. Tie a knot on the outside, on the spine. Try to have even ends of the yarn.

The ends of the yarn you can decorate if you prefer, for example with beads and use those ends to be able to close the book. You can also use a sticker for example to close it or anything else you can think of.

Envelope Booklet

And you just reached the end of the DIY. I hope you enjoyed making this little booklet! It would be a fun gift for your valentine with a cute little message or drawings.

I hope you had fun, and I’ll see you next week!

Love
Danielle
