Ufufy

5 november 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! This month’s planning will be a bit different from usual. Normally I would post Ufufy and Tsum Tsum patterns at the end of the month, but this time I switch it around. I will do those at the beginning of the month so I can do some Sinterklaas blogs at the end of the month. I hope you don’t mind! So today pattern will be a Cheshire Cat Ufufy! ♥ Assembling

Whenever I start assembling Amigurumi’s, I use sewing pins first to put it together. This way I can easily move parts around until I am happy. Then I will sew it on.

I started with sewing on the tail of the Cheshire cat first, where you can see rows switching in the back. After I positioned the legs, and sew those on as well.
Then it’s time to get the snout on, find the top light pink row of the body, then go one row up and above that one you can sew on the snout. Then attach the nose as well.
Last I’ve sewn on the ears.
Now for the fluffy bits by the ears and on his cheeks. I use strands of yarn and tied about 2 or 3 together. With a needle I’ve pulled them to the spot I wanted them to be in. Cut them to about the length you want the fluff to be. Use a needle to unraffle the yarn and brush it out to make it fluffy. Give it a final cut to the right length.
Last make his facial detail out of some felt and use a needle and thread if you prefer.

And the Cheshire Cat is all done! I hope you had fun today and were able to make this cutie. If you did, show me on Twitter and Instagram with #DelinleaDIY. I’d love to see.

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week.

Love

♥ Halloween Ufufy Add Ons

22 oktober 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! Do you like to celebrate Halloween?! I love the idea of Halloween, but I grew up in a country where it isn’t celebrated. Although, these days it does get more attention. I would have loved it if it would have been a thing here, well maybe not the dress up part, I hated to dress up as a kid. Anyway, for today’s blog I wanted to do something with Ufufy and Halloween. And since the original Ufufy don’t have any Halloween or Fall related plushies. I had to make something up. And why not dress them up with some Halloween add ons that you can easily make and add. Quick but fun, I hope you’ll like it! If you don’t have Ufufy’s, HERE you can find the patterns I made so far!

Halloween Ufufy

For this pattern you’ll need:
♥ DK yarn, Check the add on which colors you need.
♥ Crochet hook. ( I used a 2/3mm, depending on the yarn I used)
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Sewing Pins.
♥ Stitch Marker.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
FSC = Foundation Single Crochet.
SC = Single Crochet.
ST = Stitch.
FL = Front Loops.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

Disclaimer: The add ons are made for my ufufy patterns. It’s possible that they don’t fit the originals.

Those patterns are made with continues rounds, unless stated otherwise. Use a stitch marker to mark your first/last stitch of your row.

♥ Witch Hat

Start with the color Black

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: (2SC, inc) 2 times. [8]
3: (3SC, inc) 2 times. [10]
4: (4SC, inc) 2 times. [12]
5: (5SC, inc) 2 times. [14]
6: (6SC, inc) 2 times. [16]
7: (7SC, inc) 2 times. [18]
8: (8SC, inc) 2 times. [20]
9: (9SC, inc) 2 times. [22]
Change to the color Purple.
10. 22SC. [22]
11: 22SC. [22]
Change to the color Black.
12: FL, inc, (2SC, inc) 7 times. [30]
13: (4SC, inc) 6 times. [36]
14: 36SC. [36]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

♥ Devils Headband

This one is not made with continues rounds.

Headband
Use the color Black.

Make 15FSC. (Or Chain 16, insert in second ch from hook, 15SC). [15]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Horns (Make 2)
Use the color Red.

Ch3, insert in second ch from hook, SlSt, 2SC in the next st. [3]
Fasten off and sew the horns to the headband.

♥ Mummy

Use the color White.
This one is not made with continues rounds.

Fasten off and weave in tail.

♥ Tiny Pumpkin

Pumpkin
Use the color Orange.

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each st around. [12]
3: 12SC. [12]
4: 12SC. [12]
5: 12SC. [12] Stuff.
6: Dec around. [6]
Fasten off and leave a long tail.
With the tail you will make the definition of a pumpkin, wrap the yarn around and go with a needle through the middle of the pumpkin and pull tight, repeat this about 5 times. Fasten off and weave in tail.

Stem

Ch3, insert in second chain from hook, 2SLSt.
Fasten off and sew the stem to the pumpkin.

♥ Dressing up!

Now for the fun part, dress up you Ufufy’s! Since I didn’t want to sew the parts on, I used wire that I folded in half, and attach the parts that way. So I can remove it later when Halloween is over.
For the mummy, simply wrap it around your ufufy.
Witch Hat can be simply put on top.
Devils headband is also very straight forward, put it on their head.
And I added the pumpkins, simply cause they are cute, but they are also small enough to put on a headband, I made a green base of the devils headband and the sewn the pumpkin on.

I hope you had fun with today’s pattern. And if you made some, please, show me on Twitter or Instagram with #DelinleaDIY. I love to see what you create!

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week!

Mrs. Potts Ufufy

For this Pattern you’ll need;
♥ Yarn in the colors White, Pink and Yellow. (I used Zeeman Supersoft)
♥ Crochet hook. ( I used a 2mm)
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Black Felt and Thread for facial details.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Sewing Pins.

♥ (Fabric) Glue.

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
ST = Stitch.

Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.

19: dec all around. [6]

Foot of the Pot
Start with the color Pink.

At row 17 of the body you worked in BL, now rejoin with Pink yarn in the FL.
1: 24SC. [24]

Change to the color Yellow.
3: BL, 30SC. [30]
Fasten off and weave in tail

Nose
Use the color White.

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each st around. [12]
3: 12SC. [12]
4: 3SC, (dec) 3 times, 3SC. [9]
5: 9SC. [9]

Lid
Use the color Pink.

1: 4SC in a Magic Ring. [4]

If you want, you can stuff the lid lightly, but don’t put in their too much. You’ll get too much space between the body and the lid if you put too much stuffing.
Around the tip of the lid you have an Yellow accent, make a small chain that fits around there and sew it on.

Ruffles
Start with the color Pink.

At row 11 of the lid you worked in BL, rejoin with pink yarn in the FL.

Handle
Use the color Yellow.

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: 6SC. [6]
Repeat row 2 until you have 15 rows.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembling

Whenever I assemble a Amigurumi, I’d like to use sewing pins first. This way you can move parts around easily until you are happy. Then sew it on.

First sew the lid to the body of Mrs. Potts, try to center it on top. Then sew on the nose, flatten the bottom lightly to do so. Last sew on the handle. But before you do, the side where you started with the magic ring will be curled. As you can see in the picture, I’ve sewn this, so it stays in place. After this you can sew it to the body.
Last make eyes from felt and use thread to make the eyelashes and eyebrows. With a bit of pink on the cheeks, finishes off this cute Mrs. Potts.

I hope you had fun making Mrs. Potts ! It looks maybe harder to make as it actually is. If you made on for your own, show me on Instagram or Twitter with the #DelinleaDIY, I’d love to see!

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week!

Tigger Ufufy

♥ Assembling

Whenever I start assembling a Amigurumi, I’d like to use sewing pins first to position all part. This way you can easily move everything around until you are happy. Then you can sew it on.

Start with Tigger’s legs, two just under his belly and two on the side. Then position his face, keep the snout near to check if it is positioned right, since the snout will go partially over the face. Make sure, in the end, that the snout will be just above the belly.
Then sew on his ears and tail.
Now it is time to make his stripes, there are a lot, so check my pictures for references. You can make the stripes with either felt or yarn, use whatever you are most comfortable with.
Last make his eyes, nose and inside of the ears.

Tigger is done! I hope you enjoyed following along this pattern! If you made him, don’t forget to show me on Twitter or Instagram with the #DelinleaDIY.

I hope you have a wonderful day! I’ll see you next week with a TsumTsum pattern.

♥ Eeyore Ufufy Amigurumi

23 juli 2020 by Delinlea Leave a Comment

Hey Lovelies! How are you doing?! I hope you are well. I am like hyped up and I don’t know why, I wanna finish and do a lot of stuff today. Some days are like that I guess. Let’s see how much I can finish/do today. First, let’s finish this blog for you, nicely, before I go on to the next thing. It’s ufufy time today and I love today’s subject. Eeyore! Do you love him too? Let’s go to the pattern~.

Eeyore Ufufy

For this Pattern you’ll need:
♥ Yarn in Light Blue, Light Purple, Beige and Pink. (I used Zeeman Supersoft and Budgetyarn.com)
♥ Brown Fluffy Yarn. (You don’t need much)
♥ Black Felt and Yarn for the details on his body and face.
♥ Crochet Hook. (I used a 2mm hook)
♥ Stuffing.
♥ Stitch Markers.
♥ Yarn Needle.
♥ Sewing Pins.
♥ (Fabric)Glue.  (In case you decided to go with felt).

Stitches used (US Terms):
Magic Ring.
CH = Chain.
SLST = Slip Stitch.
SC = Single Crochet.
ST = Stitch.
Inc = Increase.
Dec = Decrease.
(…) = Repeat the space in brackets the given number of times.
[…] = Total number of stitches.

♥ Pattern Eeyore

This pattern is made with continues rounds, unless stated otherwise. Use a stitch marker to mark your first/last stitch of your row.

Body
Start with the color Light Blue.

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: 2SC in each st around. [12]
3: (1SC, inc) 6 times. [18]
4: (2SC, inc) 6 times. [24]
5: 24SC. [24]
6: 24SC. [24]
7: (3SC, inc) 6 times. [30]
8: 30SC. [30]
|
11: 30SC. [30]
From here on you will alternate colors to create the belly.
12: Light Blue; 13SC, Light Purple; 9SC, Light Blue; 8SC. [30]
|
14: Light Blue; 13SC, Light Purple; 9SC, Light Blue; 8SC. [30]
15: Light Blue; 12SC, inc, Light Purple; dec, 5SC, dec, Light Blue; inc, 7SC. [30]
16: Light Blue; 13SC, inc, Light Purple; dec, 3SC, dec, Light Blue; inc, 8SC. [30]
Continue with Light Blue only.
17: 30SC. [30]
18: (3SC, dec) 6 times. [24]
19: (2SC, dec) 6 times. [18] Stuff the body nicely.
20: (1SC, dec) 6 times. [12]
21: (dec) 6 times. [6]
Fasten off and weave in tail.

Legs (Make 4)
To make the legs, you want them to be half Light Purple and half Light Blue. This can be a bit tricky to do on a small leg. You can also choose to make them fully Light Blue.

1: In a Magic Ring, crochet 3SC Light Blue, change to Light Purple and crochet 3SC. [6]
2: Light Blue; 3SC, Light Purple, 3SC. [6]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2)
Start with the color Light Blue.

1: 6SC in a Magic Ring. [6]
2: Light Blue; (inc) 3 times, Pink; (inc) 3 times. [12]
3: Light Blue; 6SC, Pink 6SC. [12]
|
7: Light Blue; 6SC, Pink 6SC. [12]
8: 6SC. [6] (You stop half way the row, you could make a SlSt in the next st if you prefer)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
For the pink part I folded it in half to the inside and sewn it together, so the ear gets a bit more shape.

Snout
Use the color Beige.
This part will be a half circle shape. So the first 2 rows are continues and the last you turn your work.

1: 6SC in a magic Ring. [6]
2: Ch2, HDC in the first st, (SC inc) 2 times, HDC + DC in the next st, turn. [8]
3: Ch1, inc, 6SC, inc. [10] (this row is all SC)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Tail
Use the color Light Blue.

Chain5, insert in second ch from hook, 4SC. [4]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Bow
Use the color Pink.

In a Magic Ring; (1SC, 1HDC, 2DC, 1HDC, 1SC) 2 times. [12]
Fasten off and wrap the tail a few times around the bow tightly, where the SC’s are. If you like how it looks, fasten off and leave the rest of the tail there for sewing.

♥ Assembling

Whenever I assemble Amigurumi’s I use sewing pins first to position all parts, this way I can easily move them around until I am happy with the result, then I will sew them on. I recommend you do it this way as well.

Position Eeyore his snout just above his belly, make sure to center it. Then sew it on, and when it was almost completely sewn on, I put a bit of stuffing under it. Just to give it a little bit more shape.
Then is time for his legs, make sure to face all the purple parts of the legs, towards his belly. Sew them on.
Position the ears, since I’ve sewn the pink part together already, I pulled the blue a bit more over it so it’s easier to sew on.
For his tail, sew it to his back. With some black yarn you can make the ‘nail’ if you like. On the tip of the tail add some brown fluffy yarn and stitch his bow on as well.
With some more brown fluffy yarn, make Eeyore his hair, I just went a few time back and forth on his head, until I thought he had enough hair.
Last but not least, create all his details, like his stitchmarks on his body, eyes, nose, etc.

Eeyore Ufufy

And that was it, I hope you liked making Eeyore! I love him. If you made him as well, don’t forget to show me on Twitter or Instagram with the #DelinleaDIY.

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next week.

Love
